“Sumikkogurashi the Movie” 5th release has been decided & “Sumikkogurashi: The Movie: The Blue Moon Night's Magical Woman” will be screened again!

Sumikkogurashi will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2027. In that memorable year, production of the 5th installment of the latest film, “Sumikkogurashi the Movie,” which can be said to be the culmination of the series, was decided! Furthermore, a congratulatory illustration has arrived from the author Yokomizo Yuri ♪

Since the first movie released in 2019, Sumikko and the others have played a central role in this book series. Penguin in the illustration? , Tokage, Shirokuma, and Tonkatsu cherish the numbers adorned with impressive motifs that have appeared in their respective stories. Then, in this 5th installment, it's finally time for the final main character “Neko” to appear! It's a smiling illustration of her standing in front of the illustration while blushing like a shy Neko while being curtly prompted by a good friend. The number “5” held by the Neko is still completely white. Expectations are high as to what kind of story the 5th film, which marks the milestone in the series, will be.

The second installment in the series “Sumikkogurashi the Movie: The Magical Woman of a Blue Moonlight” will be released in 2021. “The night of the big blue full moon that comes once every 5 years,” which appears in the movie. Comparing it to the legend that “wizards come to town and make dreams come true,” this year, after 5 years, those wizards are coming to see me again!
