[Event Report ♪] “Together with Tokage! Crossing walking training 2026”

2026/5/27 (Wednesday), hosted by the Metropolitan Police Department Kanda Police Station “Together with Tokage! “Crossing Walking Training 2026” was held!

This initiative led to local traffic safety activities when San-X provided backpack covers with a “Sumikkogurashi” design to new first-year students entering Chiyoda Elementary School and Chiyoda Ward Ochanomizu Elementary School, and was realized under the leadership of the Kanda Police Station/Traffic Division.

Also, on the same day, “Tokage” participated in a bicycle safety class conducted by the Kanda Police Station at Seisegakuen High School in Chiyoda Ward ♪ We took a commemorative photo with all the students!

Also, “Sumikkogurashi” was appointed as the 2026 “Metropolitan Police Department Children's Traffic Safety Ambassador.”

At Chiyoda Elementary School and Ochanomizu Elementary School, after checking “right, left, and right” and reviewing how to cross the pedestrian crossing under a preliminary explanation by the Kanda police chief and traffic section staff, Tokage secretly appeared! While the children were roaring, a group of 2 people with Kanda Police Chief Tokage conducted training to actually cross the pedestrian crossing.

After the training, a mini traffic safety class was held on the theme of “3 checks when crossing a pedestrian crossing.” ① Check if there are any cars coming ② Check if the car has stopped ③ Check if there are any cars coming while crossing After confirming the 3 points with the children, we took a commemorative photo side by side with Tokage ♪
